Q: What is the difference between my user number and my username?
A: You can only see your user number when you go to your file browser. For example, in the address http://www.directsharing.com/user/123/imce, the number that comes after the word "user/" is your user number, in this case it is 123. This is your identity within the iFrame Matrix engine where all your files are stored. It is internal. Your username is what you choose when you sign up, to enable you to log in, and to identify any content you have created. The username is external.

Q: Can I make a video blog?
A: Yes, you can! However, instead of posting videos here, we recommend uploading them on sites such as YouTube/Google Video, and simply posting them here. The reason for this is that YouTube and Google have better uploading services. Also, using these other services helps us to conserve bandwidth and free up system resources.
Q: How do I paste YouTube and Google video links?
A: Just copy the embedding code from YouTube (usually located under the description), and open/create a Linkup Page here, and paste the code in any part of the body of the document that you desire. Another way is to create an HTML file with the video code in it. You can then upload this HTML file to your file browser and iframe the HTML file in a new linkup page.
